Floating city and impromptu picnics- Venice diaries!
Making a deliberate plan to visit Venice would have taken me a couple of years. Honestly, I always thought of it as too commercial and touristy. But since we had to board our cruise in Oct 2015 from the Venice port, staying over and exploring the city was an easy option.
Not that it turned out less touristy in anyway but the experience is worth having. Narrow lanes, numerous bridges and quaint eateries are what will stay in my memory. I documented our Venice experience through a two part video blog series on my YouTube channel. Sharing it here.
